Sex and the city reboot/
reunion/
the after party of last week’s after party

Hmmm…
I am not a big fan of reboots when it comes to shows like these. These kinds of shows meaning: big series that was groundbreaking and very entertaining at the time. Will and Grace didn’t cut it for me, Gilmore girls was a bit weird. It just doesn’t really work, sometimes it just best to stop and create other shows. Especially since two SATC movies were made after the end of the final season. I don’t think it is a very big addition to the series of today, the new series.  Even though I loved this show, the clothing, the styling, the storylines, the characters, and of course the Sex.

They really have to come up with good storylines. I want to see it all, 50 shades of Grey festivities, hetero’s, homo’s, lesbians, transgender, non-binary, I want to see Blacks, I want to see Asians, I want Latino’s/Latina’s, I want to see all communities. I want to see it all! And on top of that, I want to see fashion, a whole lot of fashion! And no I don’t want to see just Bergdorf’s, let these women shop elsewhere!

I would watch the reboot because a part of me because I am The Inquisitive, is very curious to see what the three characters are up to since they are older now. We’ve seen them grow in the series and I sure would like to know, what they are up to now. Assuming that they have continued their lives.
Also, Carrie was such a big inspiration, as I still aspire to be a columnist, see I just want to write about life and about issues females go through and engage with my readers. The Carrie that was a columnist and a stylish one too, was an inspiration, I could never get enough of that, but only if she is still as inspiring and her story is still worth to be told! Only then can she be an icon. Carrie, just look at Kim Kardashian, she knows when to stop. And she is a real-life Icon, she is even bigger than Cher to me.

As for Samantha, I think she was very characteristic in the series and was a huge part of the success of SATC. I wonder how spectacular they will make it look now, since one of the two biggest characters in the show is missing, I already know it will make a huge difference. It would be such a shame if they would let her die because of cancer. Her storyline would just be too simple. But hey, I went to the Spice Girls reunion concert without Victoria, and I had the best time. Still, I would have wanted her there, if only to look at her.

Sex and the city will begin production in New York, where else? In the spring. Okay, Sex and Covid in the city. Ten episodes of 30min.

Well, I best buy my Manolo’s before everybody else gets influenced into buying them, and I’ll treat myself a Cosmo while waiting on the show to air. Wonder how many Cosmo’s I’ll have.

Here are some of my favorite SATC looks:
